I've spent more than 20 years making records.
I've produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered music for The Story So Far, Basement, State Champs, Hundredth, The Dangerous Summer, SpiritWorld, Ryan Caraveo, I the Mighty, Lionheart, and hundreds more.
I built The Panda Studios in the San Francisco Bay Area around a simple idea: every artist and every record deserves its own sound.
I'm not interested in formulas or making your record sound like the last one I made. I care about the songs, the performances, the tones, the arrangements, and all the little details that turn a collection of songs into a record people actually give a shit about.
I produce. I engineer. I mix. I master. I write. I play. I build weird shit.
Whatever helps make the record better.
The obsession doesn't stop when the record is finished.
That same approach eventually became Purafied Audio, where we turn sounds, tools, techniques, and ridiculous ideas developed in the studio into audio software for producers and musicians around the world.
